SUB-TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP

It shall specifically focus on technical discussions, planning, monitoring  and review, on a particular Outcome, aligned with the Project Steering Committee (PSC)-approved Work and Financial Plan, and disbursement schedules.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Provide specific advice and guidance to the  Implementing Office/s on the preparation of the work and financial plans

– Promote synergistic approaches and collaboration in the whole project implementation; coordinating, when needed, with the TWG from the  other Outcomes

– Recommend to the TWG appropriate policies and protocols to support the management of the activities per Outcome

– Discuss issues relating to the work of the Project Management Division (PMD) vis-à-vis the activities and respond to these issues as appropriate

– Provide a forum for discussion of progress and development of various activities per Outcome; make suggestions and/or proposals to the TWG to ensure implementation and remove bottlenecks that are hindering or delaying implementation

– Prepare and submit semi-annual progress reports (including monitoring reports) and other reportorial requirements
